About Cross-Eyed

The site you’re on now is the online version of Cross-Eyed Blog and Webzine. Inside you’ll find hundreds of amazing articles written by authors who have been hand picked by our staff. Not only is the webzine full of encouraging articles, it also features movie, book and music reviews. We even interview popular artists from time to time!

I’m Eric Novak, co-founder of Cross-Eyed Blog and Webzine. On behalf of everyone behind Cross-Eyed, I would like to personally welcome you to the webzine. It is my prayer that you will be encouraged and strengthened by the content in these pages and in future issues.

The History of Cross-Eyed

In spring 2008, Kaysie Hamilton created Cross-Eyed Blog to encourage believers to remain focused on the Cross and to enrich our grasp of the gospel. Flawed modern evangelism has numbed the message of the Cross into something of a “magic prayer” to be offered up and then laid aside. This is weakening the church. A Biblical approach to the gospel is not only the doorway to heaven, it is the very foundation and path we walk on throughout life. We should never move away from the gospel – this is the heart behind Cross-Eyed. Kaysie currently heads up the devotional column.

Eric Novak joined the team in autumn 2008, and revamped Cross-Eyed. He brought to the table his talent for web design, influential writing, and a heart for God. Kaysie and Eric now hope to invite many other passionate believers to write, blog, and live gospel-centered lives. Eric is continuing to development on the webzine and currently works as the primary graphic designer, webmaster and coordinator.

The mission of Cross-Eyed Blog and Webzine is to encourage and build up our brothers and sisters in Christ through articles relevant to their daily lives and struggles. Through the written word, we hope to impact Christians and help them live lives that glorify God.

The webzine and website you see today are the cumulation of hundreds of hours of work in unique writing and design. Please enjoy your visit to Cross-Eyed Blog and Webzine.

God Bless,
Eric Novak and Kaysie Hamilton
