Modesty is a subject people tend to avoid discussing. Genesis tells us that after the fall, Adam and Eve were ashamed of their immodesty and God clothed them with animal skins. Because of that uneasiness, modesty is an issue that is skirted and ignored. But however uncomfortable the issue makes women and men feel, more of them need to step up to the plate and start discussing it.
The Modesty Handbook is a guide to the heart of modesty. Unlike other books on modesty we don’t give a legalistic set of rules on how low a shirt or how long a skirt should be. Instead we focus on the root of the matter – a spirit that honors and glorifies God.
